Christian Nolan Jones is an award-winning writer-director whose work captures heartfelt, grounded storytelling rooted in the American South. Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and educated at Howard University and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Jones brings a deeply personal lens to narratives about identity, community, and the human condition.

His short film Glitter Ain’t Gold premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in 2022, where it received the Special Jury Award for Directing and Community Filmmaking, as well as the Georgia Filmmaker Award at that year’s Atlanta Film Festival. In television, Jones directed an episode of Issa Rae’s Rap Sh!t for HBO Max in 2022, and his proof-of-concept Red Clay (2025), co-written and executive produced by 2 Chainz and Omar Epps, earned him Best Director in the Drama Pilot category at SeriesFest.

Jones’ film Brown with Blue (2020) premiered on Issa Rae’s “Short Film Sundays” after winning Best Local Short at the Atlanta Underground Film Festival. He was selected for HBO’s Visiting Directors Fellowship in 2018, shadowing directors on Lovecraft Country for executive producers J.J. Abrams and Jordan Peele. He is also a recipient of Carnegie Hall’s NeON Arts Grant.

Most recently, Jones was named a finalist for TDE’s Short Film Fund for his pilot script, “Dash!” He was also recognized as one of the Creative Collective’s Creative Class of 2023 and received the NBAF Emerging Filmmaker honor (2023), and appeared on The Tracking Board’s Next List of rising storytellers in 2019. Jones continues to expand his creative endeavors, currently developing his debut feature Kinfolk with Big Beach (Sorry Baby, The Farewell) and his second feature, Black Star Line, with the support of Spike Lee. As he evolves as a filmmaker, Jones aims to build a body of work that redefines Southern cinema through authenticity, emotional depth, and cultural pride.

Kiara Brown is a Los Angeles–based writer, director, producer, and creative director whose work explores intimacy, identity, and the emotional complexity of modern relationships. Drawing from a multidisciplinary background in branding, design, and visual storytelling, she creates films that blend striking visual composition with deeply human, character-driven narratives.

Her directorial debut, Unlocked, is currently on the 2026 film festival circuit. The short explores love, choice, and the tension between security and desire, marking the beginning of a body of work centered on emotional interiority and the complexities of human connection. Through subtle performances and cinematic imagery, Kiara is drawn to stories that ask difficult questions without offering easy answers.

Before transitioning into filmmaking, Kiara built her career as a creative director and producer, leading campaigns across music, fashion, and culture. She has developed creative for global brands and entertainment companies, and produced a music video for Snoop Dogg, experiences that continue to shape her visual language and collaborative approach to filmmaking.

Through Woodside Drive, Kiara develops visual projects that will make her hometown of East Atlanta proud. Influenced by both fine art and southern black culture, she approaches every project with a designer's eye.

As she continues to build her career, Kiara is focused on creating intimate, visually rich black film culture that resonate long after the credits roll.
